Liverpool’s Ozan Kabak shines again, this time for Turkey against Netherlands in the 2022 Qatar World Cup qualifying match. Turkey began their campaign with a brilliant 4-2 victory over the Netherlands. And Kabak is gradually building a case for his long-term Liverpool future. After an understandably shaky start, he has established himself as a key player within the Liverpool defense, producing a handful of standout displays.
The 21-year-old had another subtly impressive showing against Netherlands, displaying intelligent reading of the game, smart positional play and controlled aggression in the right moments to guide Turkey. Kabak put in a defensive performance jam-packed full of clearances and winning duels.
Liverpool can sign Kabak from Schalke on a permanent deal at the end of the season for just £18 million. He’s got until the end of the season with Liverpool to prove himself as a potential longer-term option at the heart of LFC defense. But the CIES Football Observatory, claim he is worth almost double that. Looks like with Kabak LFC have negotiated yet another bargain as the CIES value him in the region of £35 million.

If Klopp decides to make Kabak signing permanent, Van Dijk, Jo Gomez, Joel Matip, Ozan Kabak and Nat Phillips will be is more than formidable Center Back group for us next season if they all can stay fit.
